Quantitative Analytics Associate

Join the Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) Remediation and Correction functional area that cares for the identification, classification, and correction of customer impacts caused by business process or operational breaks within CCB.  Within the this function, the team focuses on correcting the impacted accounts via recalculating and/or crediting finance charges, fees, and rewards balances;  correcting/changing finance charge and fee structures; initiating customer communications. 

As a Quantitative Analytics Associate in the Quality Assurance team, you will ensure that our applications work as they should and meet customers' needs. You will join one of our high-performing QA teams, drawing on your testing knowledge and creativity to automate test capabilities and design test and maintenance procedures. You will also tap into our existing test frameworks to tackle specific problems. We take a collaborative approach to quality, which means you'll work with experienced developers, managers, and business partners across the organization. You'll receive coaching, mentorship, and continuous feedback to help you become an even better technologist and professional.

Job responsibilities

Ensure accuracy of code and data as well as procedure and policies. Effectively communicate with Business Analyst/Developers and Project Managers on the issues identifiedWork under tight deadlines (sometimes 10 days or less)Develop and maintenance of the overall code validation strategy for the Correction functionDevelop test plan, code validation procedures, processes, job aids, tools and approaches and effective communication of defectsPerform code to business requirement validationWrite queries and run frequencies to validate population and output filesEnsure correct formatting and logic of all output filesActively engage in process adherence and improvement discussions

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

5+ years of experience in Requirements Testing/Quality Analyst or 3 plus years as a SQL or SAS Developer or related roleMust have ability to understand complex SQL and SAS queries with short deadlinesRead requirements and technical documents and recreate dataWork multiple problems simultaneouslyStrong communication skills (both written and verbal)Strong analytical skillsDetailed and quality orientedTeam player with the ability to work independently

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

querying skills in Snowflake/TERADATA environment

 

The work schedule is Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm.
