Quality Validation Engineer

Sr. Quality Engineer - Validation will work independently with minimal direction and be responsible for managing and executing the validation program for the Pharma and Personal Care (PPC) division Greensboro, NC location.  Duties include developing and executing protocols and analyzing results for a variety of qualification and validation functions, identifying triggers to validate and ensuring consistent application of validation requirements, training of personnel and monitoring compliance with validation protocol requirements, and regular report outs to site and division management.  To support the growth of the Pharma and Personal Care division, performing work as specified by project needs in a timely manner is required.

What You Will Do:

Own and drive the site validation program to ensure ongoing compliance with internal practices and procedures and customer expectations.  The program covers all manufacturing assets and processes and laboratory equipment based at the PPC Greensboro location.Collaborate on protocol development, training, execution, and closure with both the Greensboro and St. Paul based PPC teams.Participate in change management processes to ensure all triggers to validate are appropriately identified and risk assessed.

Minimum Qualifications:

4 year Degree in Science or Engineering related field -AND-2-4 years of experience with asset and / process validation in a cGMP environmentExperience with manufacturing, validation, Quality Systems, and trainingProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Powerpoint)Strong written and verbal communication skillsSelf-starter with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

Collaborative approach to teamwork and providing guidancePractical understanding of chemistry and / or microbiology
