Integrated Product Unit Leader

Your role and responsibilities

Main Accountabilities:LeadershipSupports specific activities related to Quality Management within local ABB organizational unit.Executes and assists the local organization with specific quality content, tools, and systems.AssuranceSupports quality assurance activities in collaboration with local production, engineering, and other relevant functions.Reports quality issues data, ensuring the Quality Management System is adhered to at all stages.Acquires and reports in an accurate and timely manner on Quality metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the analysis and management of local processes.Utilizes measurement systems to produce data that reflect the accurate characteristics of materials, products, systems, and processes.

Qualifications for the role

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)Availability to work in any shift (1st, 2nd, 3rd) as needed.Performs assigned tasks in a safe manner that will encourage others to exercise safety in their normal daily activities.Trains local operational teams in relevant elements of quality management, supports implementation and raises opportunities for improvement.Customer Focus Provides feedback to work teams from their internal and external customers to promote alignment between process output and customer expectations.GovernanceAssists the local quality team in implementing and maintaining a Quality system. Conducts routine audits to ensure the conformance of processes or products with established processes, procedures, standards, and specifications.Leads small work teams in the documentation of their processes and the implementation of quality controls to ensure consistent and predictable results.Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
