Position summary The Quality Systems Specialist shall coordinate campus Change Management/Implementation and Document Control activities in accordance with BorgWarner Global procedures, BorgWarner Ithaca procedures and the BorgWarner Supplier Quality Manual, maintain administrative and access rights to Customer Portals, support Campus Quality Systems, and manage Customer Quality Concerns as assigned. The individual will drive adherence to and improvements in our current Quality Systems. The individual will foster cross functional relationships to effectively document, manage, and implement changes and address Customer Quality Concerns. Key accountabilities + Coordinate Change Management and Change Implementation activities in accordance with BorgWarner Global and local procedures, and BorgWarner Supplier Quality Manual + Coordinate Supply-Base Change Management activities (eSCR Process) + Coordinate Document Control activities (DCP and EDC). + Support BorgWarner Quality Systems and Customer Portals as assigned + Manage Customer Quality Concerns as assigned through the 8D process. + Drives and champions quality systems improvement efforts. What we are looking for + Six years related technical experience. + Associates degree preferred + Automotive industry experience preferred. + Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems, Change Management and Document Control. + Experience with Teamcenter PLM software preferred. + Knowledge of ISO9001 required, IATF16949:2016 preferred. + Working knowledge of structured problem-solving methods (8Ds, 5Why, A3) + Strong organizational and communication skills and attention to detail required. + Prior leadership experience a plus + Experience with Customer Service a plus. + Experience with Supplier Quality a plus. + Experience with Microsoft Office products required. SAP, Teamcenter, FileMaker Pro, PowerBI preferred.
