Quality Supervisor

The Quality Specialist to play a vital role in bolstering the Lifecycle Services quality program. This position involves on-site inspections of goods and processes, identifying areas of concern, and proposing enhancements and management of quality control inspectors. Leveraging specialized knowledge, the Quality Specialist ensures site-level compliance throughout the network with internal and regulatory standards, promptly reports deviations, and defects for collaborative resolution, and works in close partnership to promote compliance and growth within the quality program. This role reports directly to the Quality Program Manager. 

IN THIS ROLE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

Champion a culture of safety as our top priority. Assure compliance with the quality program at the Rapid Response Centers. Oversee and maintain quality standards at all stages of the manufacturing process, providing guidance to production personnel to address issues and ensure adherence. Regularly monitor and audit processes, products, or services to identify areas of improvement and compliance issues. Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to quality metrics. Use statistical methods to identify trends, patterns, and areas of concern. Manage and provide leadership to direct reports, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.  Train employees on quality standards and best practices, ensuring that all team members are aware of and adhere to quality requirements. Manage the Corrective Action Report (CAR) & Non-Conformance Report (NCR) processes at the site. Conduct inspections and audits to verify product or service quality.  Identify and report defects, non-conformities, and areas for improvement. Handle facilities NDE inspections of material/products. Investigate the root causes of quality issues and develop action plans to prevent reoccurrence. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance overall quality and efficiency. Assess and monitor the quality of materials or services provided by suppliers, and work with them to resolve quality issues. Accountable for the management of the pressure testing program and related qualifications.

FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:

Bachelor’s Degree in related field and 5+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  5+ years of experience in auditing or inspecting. NDT Certification or the ability to obtain certification within 12 months of hire. Minimum 5 years’ experience in managing direct reports. Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated leadership capabilities. Effective problem-solving skills. Thorough understanding of Quality Assurance processes. Ability to uncover root causes of complex problems

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:

Advanced knowledge of operational procedures and tools, with previous manufacturing experience preferred. Familiarity with Fisher and Final Control products is a plus. Experience in quality maintenance is preferred. Experience with ASME and ANSI standards is preferred. Familiarity with ASME Sec lX and related experience is a plus.
