Quality Supervisor
Overview **This position will be physically located in Iraq in support of LOGCAP** The Quality Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Quality Manager with providing a Total Quality Management System that anticipates & resolves potential quality problems & provides continuous oversight necessary to perform throughout the Task Order. Shares responsibility for ensuring that all quality-related functions, including Program-level Quality Surveillance/Audit, Customer Feedback Program, Process Improvements, Document Control are conducted in an acceptable manner and coordinates activities with various intermediate managers throughout the program Responsibilities This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company. Possess the technical ability to develop executive Corrective Action Plan in response to third party nonconformance reports (NCR). Coordinates the correction of minor problems with the functional area managers and acts as liaison with the Government Contract Officer Representatives (CORs) and Quality Assurance Representatives (QARs). Evaluate how overall work center performance is meeting Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements. Implements ISO 9001 Standards Ensures processes and procedures required are executed in compliance with project specifications, standards and safety and security requirements. Review Work-center Plans, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Internal Operating Procedures (IOP) and Work Instructions (WI), to ensure they provide proper operational information and direction for performing all tasks. Ensures QA Audit plans, and corrective actions are identified where any non-conformities or process deviations are identified and follow up these to conclusion. Direct corrective actions for all discrepancies and monitor compliance. Evaluate and resolve customer complaints and take actions to preclude reoccurrence. Schedule VOC to insure contract performance meets or exceeds requirements Coordinate with the technical sections to assist in developing KPIs to measure the PWS of the various sections. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required. Must possess Secret (Tier 3) Security Clearance Must be CAC eligible and/or able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) Must be a U.S. Citizen Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or closely related field is required. Ability to possess an ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Certification. Knowledge of DMAAIC principles is preferred. Six Sigma Black Belt certification strongly desired. Experience: A minimum of seven (7) years in a DOD environment, five (5) years of Quality experience required with at least five (3) years of leadership/management experience. Proven Leadership of Quality or Project Management of multiple projects or remote sites Successful candidate must also show evidence of knowledge of running a Quality Management System (QMS), experience in DMAIC or LEAN principles with continuous improvement projects. Candidate must also be able to work under pressure in a high tempo environment and manage multiple assignments simultaneously. Skills: Must have and extensive knowledge of FAR, ISO 9001:2015 & DoD regulations Must have higher or Senior level organizational skills. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, SharePoint, Project and Visio. Ability to work with very diverse workforce. Excellent English communicator both in writing and verbally. Expertise in how SOP'S, Plans, Work Instructions, processes are executed is a must. Proven skills in Analytical/Problem Solving. Strong planning and organizational skills. Interpersonal skills to represent the PMO during audits and inspections, to participate in various meetings and to present data/metrics to program leadership and technicians as required. Strong attention to detail is required. Knowledge of PMI Methodologies and principles preferred Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervises the Quality team. Working Conditions: Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry, duty, desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees in the winter and 130 degrees in the summer months). Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well. Physical Requirements: Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents. Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
