This position reports to

Engineeing Manager

Your role and responsibilities

•\tRepresent the voice of the customer within local teams•\tManage the customer quality issues, perform root cause analysis and lead the implementation of the corrective actions to solve the customer quality issues•\tManage internal quality systems (receiving inspection, scrap analysis, gage control, etc.) for assigned department•\tManage the overall quality system and ensure retention of our ISO (International Organization for Standardization) certification•\tSet and lead the quality strategy for the facility

Qualifications for the role

\tHigh School Diploma with minimum 2 years of experience\tBasic knowledge of the following principles and should be able to elaborate the concepts: lean manufacturing, 5S, 8D reports and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process)\tPrevious experience in customer support, service or client facing roles and previous knowledge or experience with electrical testing procedures\tStrong quality systems/process experience and ability to work individually or within a team or large groups as required\tData analysis/trending experience\tISO experience strongly preferred\tAbility to work in team and great communication skills and diplomacy to deal with our customers\tCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
