Quality Summer Intern

**Description**
As a Quality summer intern on the global Quality team, you will support and lead problem solving efforts across the quality management system, product quality and/or supplier quality to identify opportunities for process improvements to impact customer quality.
Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, likes to collaborate cross functionally and asks questions, learn new systems and processes and communicates well with others in multiple formats.
**Responsibilities**
+ Gather and analyze quality process data and lead problem solving activities to define current state, identify root cause and determine next steps.
+ Develop a future state plan in collaboration with critical stakeholders.
+ Utilize the Fortive Business System (FBS), incl. the Problem Solving Process, Kaizen activities and others as part of the project.
+ Work with necessary personnel and coordinate the implementation of quality best practices and process improvements across Fluke locations
**Requirements and skills**
+ Must be able to work on site at Fluke’s headquarters in Everett, Washington
+ Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
+ Desire to ask questions and learn new processes.
+ Strong communication, leadership skills preferred
+ Attention to detail.
+ Ability to take direction but also provide ideas for improvements.
+ Proficiency with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Teams).
**Qualifications**
+ Pursuing a degree in engineering, science or related field with a graduation date of December 2025 or later.
+ Basic knowledge and experience with Quality tools such as root cause analysis, mistake proofing (poke-yoke), GD&T, statistical sample, FMEA, ISO 9001 preferred
+ Six sigma and lean continuous improvement skills preferred
+ Project Management skills a plus

The hourly pay range for this position is $20-$40/hour.
