This individual will be required to follow policies, procedures, and methods to evaluate and improve the quality of products, materials, components and/or operations. Follow and/ or develop, assures and maintains the quality of products and processes through standard procedures & systems (e.g., ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14000 & AS9100 standards), quality audits/ review process, etc. Responsibilities are within the Quality Assurance Methods Function as a generalist or in a combination of disciplines.
Major Position Responsibilities Prepares and implements quality assurance policies, procedures & review cyclesManages internal audit program; internal & customer required audit schedules, leads audits, and creates audit reportsEvaluates audit findings and aids in the implementation of appropriate corrective actionsMaintains and improves Quality Management System and generate reports as neededCreates, updates & leads Quality training as neededMay administer the material review boards & databaseMay also lead or support various projects as assigned
Basic Qualifications Required Education: Associate's Degree OR Equivalent Combination of relevant Education & ExperiencePreferred Education: Bachelor's DegreeDiscipline/Major: Quality or related degree preferredYears and Area of Experience (required for the role): 5-7 years of relevant experience Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Batch Testing. Inspection. Nondestructive Testing. Product QA. Quality Assurance Process. Quality Improvement. Quality Inspection. Quality Management System (QMS).Critical Professional Related Technical Skills; Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
