Quality Specialist- Automation

What You’ll Do- 
The Analytics Cloud organization is looking for an Automation engineer to strengthen the quality assurance of our next generation cloud-based Analytics platform with fully automated processes.  

Perform an end-to-end quality cycle; understand requirements, feature design, testing and automation strategy of software components. 

Test planning, test automation, test execution, failure analysis of various modules within SAP Analytics cloud  

Work within a team of engineers to drive improvements in overall quality, testing processes and practices, and automation.  

You will work very closely with product teams in different geographic locations to ensure that the test coverage and delivery quality meet the delivery goals.  

Build and enhance advanced automated test suites.  

Prioritize tasks, develop detailed test plans, and estimate effort required to completion of projects.  

Analyze performance and stability  

  

What You Bring- 

4+ years’ experience as a software developer or Quality specialist working in Cloud software 

University degree in Computer Science (or related subject) 

Proficient on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, Database,Testing, Selenium, Appium 

Experience in Developing Automated Test Scripts (UI and API) 

You have excellent analytical and communication skills. You are a team player with outstanding interpersonal skills and a high degree of personal initiative. 

Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Docker 

Knowledge/Hands on Experience with Performance Testing. 

Proven experience in incident management and root cause analysis. 

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills. 

Certification on any Hyperscalers is a plus. 

Sound knowledge of Software QA principles and practices.  

Experience in using any bug tracking and version control systems.  

 

Meet Your Team- 

The Quality & Performance team in the Planning & Analytics Cluster is responsible for the delivery of automated test scenarios reflecting end to end customer workflows, helping to validate the functional correctness of the new releases of SAP Analytics Cloud. 

Develop and Maintain the Test Framework and Tools 

You will contribute to the programmatic development of real-life scenarios and to their automation including all steps from initial data connection to visualization and will be contributing to the integration of these scenarios in our continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
