Role Overview and Responsibilities

 

Summary: The Receiving Inspector will work closely with the quality and production department in ensuring delivered goods are in conformance with TT Electronic standards.

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.Inspects and approves incoming materials by confirming specifications, using appropriate equipment and conducting visual Inspection made to print.Verify certification and conformity to customer specifications.Communicate with engineering and purchasing on discrepancies and facilitate returns and replacements, properly mark and record rejected material.Segregate and protect identification and traceability.Compares quantity and part number of items received with procurement data and other specifications to ensure completeness and accuracy of order.Approves or rejects items, and records inspection and disposition information and create a quality concern. Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

Qualifications:

Must possess a desire for success, commit to goals and perform in a dynamic, results based environment.Previous experience in the receiving inspection in a manufacturing environment.Experience receiving and inspecting materials for conformity in a regulated environment.Strong attention to detail and have the ability to read product specifications, schematics and fabrication drawings.Must be able to make measurement calculations and use test equipment and measurement tools (i.e., Multi Meter, Calipers)Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and other applications such as ERP systems preferred.Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
