The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) T7-A Total Quality team is seeking an Experienced Quality Production Specialist to support flight test and flight operations in St. Louis, MO, but will be located in Edwards AFB, CA, for up to an 18 month temporary assignment.
Position may also include additional travel to other Air Force Bases in the future.
Position Responsibilities:
Provides guidance for reviews and validates product non-conformances and disposition type, quality procedures and engineering requirementsOversees the analysis and evaluation of the quality of products, operations and processesApplies advanced knowledge of aerospace design, systems and integration to perform failure and forensic analysis of aerospace components and systemsGuides or provides assistance in the root cause analysis of nonconformance.Verifies the accuracy of analysis results by consulting with other authorities in the technical fieldOversees the process of problem resolution to ensure effectiveness of the Quality Management SystemReviews and oversees approval of Quality planning changes or disposition of nonconformance hardware products/processesProvides direction for validation of corrective action to assure causes of nonconformance has been eliminatedCreates formal analytical reports and coordinates with the responsible parties for internal/external distributionWorks under minimal direction and is responsible for training and mentoring techniciansProgram Specific Responsibilities
Aircraft flight releases open item reconciliation and US red X sign off authorityInitiates, prepares, and maintains aircraft logbooks per requirementsTracks Inspections and Life Limited parts in accordance with applicable service guidancePrepares aircraft inventory records, reviews technical directives and initiates appropriate action to ensure all required changes, inspections have been accomplished and documentedEnsures appropriate aircraft and technical directive records are maintainedMaintains a log of aircraft and engine flight hours and landingsEnters flight discrepancies into Aircraft Flight Reporting System (AFRS)Performs Engine Accounting functions per requirementsMaintains CAD/PAD records per government requirementsDemonstrates knowledge of technical orders and technical publicationsMaintains aircraft build records in accordance with Records & Information Management requirementReviews / writes internal company processes (BPI’s) and recommends process improvementsThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed locations (Travel is expected between sites)
This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience working with Quality and/or Safety Corrective Action/Preventative Action, Root Cause Corrective Actions3+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications3+ years of experience with data analysis and/or data mining3+ years of experience working in a quality job role3+ years of experience with Microsoft office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and WordExperience with military maintenance in accordance Air Force instructions and formsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5 or more year's related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceBachelor’s degree or higher3+ year of aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing experienceMaterial Review Board experience or similar Liaison Engineering experienceExperience communicating to program leadershipFamiliarity USAF IMDS and CEMS maintenance tools and 781 formsUSAF Plans, Scheduling and Documentation, Familiarity with USAF T.O. 00-20-1 and AFI 21-101 and aircraft specific -6 Technical Orders.Military logs and records keeping experienceShift:

Relocation:
This position does allow for relocation to St Louis, MO. While on temporary duty in CA, other benefits will be provided.
