Located near Louisville, KY, American Synthetic Rubber Company has a rich 80-year history supplying high-quality synthetic rubber to the nation and Michelin. What you will do

Implement the technical means for process control on influential product specifications.Monitor and maintain the daily production processes, including delivery and quality results.Support digitalization and innovative methods to improve plant performance.Serve as a product treatment specialist through planning and scheduling of the non-conform recycling loop.Generate and communicate business results with respect to non-conform generation and mitigation.Ensure right the first-time principles are applied.Participate in local quality planning, including feasibility studies allowing the plant to commit to its production responsibilities.Troubleshoot deviations in performance, define and implement corrective and preventive action plans.Support operational and maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution of preventative maintenance.Assess, innovate, and improve our current means of production and reprocess methods through mitigation of non-conform generation while improving process capabilities and capacity.

What you will bring

Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact in a professional manner with external partners, suppliers, customers, and colleagues at all levels of the organization.Strong teamwork, leadership, and organizational skills.Effective problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and process/product relationship knowledge.B.S. degree or equivalent experience in a scientific field, with 0-5 years of experience in process engineering or quality control in a manufacturing environment. (Chemical Engineering or other Engineering fields preferred)Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office® Suite and ability to become proficient in internal software systems.Familiarity with quality protocols and controls.Attention to detail and data accuracy.
