The Role - What’s the job?

This role is responsible for driving improvements in product quality and process control through process engineering activities and implementation of the quality management system at the Denver, CO, site location and its aluminum coil coating and slitting operations.

Provide Process Control Engineering to include controls design and implementation, definition of targets and measures, and validation activities. Lead data analysis, develop cost-reduction initiatives, and provide training and hands-on support to manufacturing operators. Lead Quality Assurance efforts to ensure product and process quality; investigate and help resolve/prevent consumer claims; and monitor/drive improvement in Cost of Poor Quality metrics. Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, and Product Management to integrate quality standards into new products. Travel up to 20% for meetings, training, and collaboration with other Saint-Gobain sites and businesses, as well as current and potential customers. Typical working hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with some after-hours accessibility.
