Lear has an exciting opportunity for a proven Quality Manager to join our new Green Field investment in Kecskemet. The role will be tasked to build a quality organization in the new JIT facility driving the plant to benchmark category noticed by customer and Lear organization.

 

As Quality Manager your responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):
 

Recruit, train and develop Quality organization as to meet all launch gateways and milestones. Work directly with our customers and suppliers to ensure quality standards are met and maintained; launching new projects in line with corporate standards with operational excellence. Drive quality organization that ensure compliance to customer commitments and requirements as well as positively impacts the financial performance of the company. Lead, motivate and develop the quality team - coach and evaluate performance to reach individual targets and follow up performance, sharing the knowledge. Develop quality measurements and prevention systems in the production processes. Track and report on KPIs to improve plant performance through root cause analysis and corrective actions. Schedule and oversee daily operations and strategic growth planning.

 

To be a success in this role you must have:
 

Minimum 5 years’ experience in managing plant quality team in automotive industry (Tier 1 supplier). Practical experience in auditing and quality management systems. Fluency in English and Hungarian, nice to have German. Strong problem solving abilities including root cause, corrective/preventive actions through hands on approach. Excellent people skills: leadership ability to build and direct the department Project management skills Degree or equivalent in an engineering or technical related subject
