Key Accountabilities
Utilize data driven problem solving methods to improve key quality metrics such as internal and external PPM, Scrap, First Article Inspection, and Customer Specification flow down.Drive a culture of quality at the source whereby all associates assume ownership for the quality of their work, services, and productsManage the activity and personal and professional development of the exempt and non-exempt quality staffFacilitate the flow of work and to identify & drive continuous improvement opportunities within the shop floorDrive a culture of continuous improvement and waste reductionDevelop & Manage Sub-tiered suppliers qualifications and certificationsLiaison with FAA and/or other regulatory agencies.Liaison/VOC representative to customer baseQuality Manage is responsible for creating policies, procedures, and work flow that is compliant with ISO 9001 quality standardLead ISO 9001 audit activitiesCreate and manage document control processIn partnership with Plant Manager create quality policy, and annual quality objectives to include monthly measurement and counter-measuresOwn and drive periodic quality system management review sessionsJob Requirements
Capabilities and Success Factors
Bachelor’s degree preferably in a technical fieldAt least seven years of quality experience in a manufacturing environmentMust be bi-lingual English/SpanishExperience in manufacturing with solid background in metal manufacturing environment including metal cutting and grinding is desirableStrong prior experience and proficiency in root cause analysis and formal problem-solving techniquesGood writing/administrative skills, including computer skills (word processing, graphics, spreadsheet, Minitab, etc.)Demonstrated proficiency project managementFact based, data driven decision makerProven history of customer satisfaction success both internally & externallyExperience and working knowledge of all special processes applicable to aerospace applications, Nadcap experience a plus.Working knowledge of engineering part drawings and Geometric Dimensioning and TolerancingCandidate must have experience working with ISO 9001Experience working in a lean manufacturing or continuous improvement environmentAbout Regal RexnordRegal Rexnord is a $6.5B publicly held global industrial manufacturer with 30,000 associates around the world who help create a better tomorrow by providing sustainable solutions that power, transmit and control motion.
