Business Manager - Robotics

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to deploy and lead the quality strategy for a local organizational unit, including quality culture, systems, tools, and competent teams, with the aim to achieve and exceed customer expectations while ensuring sustainable operations. Each day, you will drive the local quality system through the right mix of prevention, continuous improvement, robust root cause analysis, quick response, and sustainable solutions to problems. You will also showcase your expertise by coordinating the efforts of all necessary local functions that impact the quality results to reach the targets for the organizational unit and aim for world-class performance and ensuring that the necessary certification requirements are met throughout the organization.This role is contributing to the Robotics Division in Spain. Main stakeholders are BL Automotive, BL Industries, BL Customer Service and Global Solution Centers for AMR, Press Automation and Assembly.The accountable person in this position:-Develops and leads quality management strategies in alignment with the quality management system, policy, and local strategy.-Advises and consults with local management to enhance functional performance and improve organizational results.-Implements strategies and plans to advance the quality management system based on identified risks and opportunities, in collaboration with local management.Ensures effective communication regarding the quality management system internally and externally.-Establishes a closed-loop quality cycle from product development to customer feedback, ensuring customer requirements and expectations are met.-Executes an effective audit program to assess compliance and leverage quality data analytics to identify risks and non-conformances.The work model for the role is: #LI-hybrid.

Qualifications for the role

You are highly skilled in utilizing quality management systems (QMS) and methodologies such as root cause analysis, continuous improvement (Kaizen), and Six Sigma.You have 5+ years of experience in the quality management field.Possess an enhanced knowledge of and are highly adept in using SAP, Salesforce, quality auditing tools, and data analytics platforms to track and improve operational performance.You are passionate about collaboration, leadership, and customer satisfaction and are innovative around implementing sustainable solutions and continuous improvement strategies.High education with extensive knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and quality assurance methodologies.You are at ease communicating in English and Spanish, both written and spoken, to effectively engage with local and international stakeholders.You hold current quality certifications (such as CQE or Six Sigma Black Belt) valid in Spain, and meet all legal requirements for employment within the EU.
