As Guardian seeks expansion and locates new industries to serve we recognize the requirement of having a robust Quality Management System (QMS). Guardian is currently operating under a QMS and needs full-time support in maintaining and improving upon what exists today. Requirements JOB RESPONSIBILITIES + Maintain, review, and improve upon existing AS9100/ISO9002 QMS + Write and maintain procedures, work instructions, and other controlled documentation + Support Manufacturing by resolving Quality issues + Manage internal audits and facilitate external audits as needed + Assist in handling customer returns, completing root cause analyses, and driving pragmatic corrective and preventive actions + Train employees at various levels of the organization on relevant QMS topics + Create Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEAs, and Control Plans QUALIFICATIONS + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering desired, although a combination of education and directly related work experience will also be considered + 2-5 years of Quality or Manufacturing Engineering + Lean/6σ/AS9100 experience a bonus + Experience with Cybersecurity certifications a plus + Ability to self-direct, multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently + Proficient with MS Office or similar software + Fluent in Spanish a bonus OTHER DUTIES Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
