Quality Management Systems Lead

Who will you be working with?
In this role, you will be part of Lead Auditor team for the internal audit program.
How will you make a difference? 


Lead the root cause analysis and ensure sustainable corrective actions. Key deliverables are to sustain and mature the Quality Management System enabling 3rd Party Registrar Quality Certifications as required and assuring quality products and services for our customers.


What do we want to know about you? 

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college

Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in Quality Management Systems in manufacturing setting (automotive, heavy mechanical industry, transportation, aviation or equivalent).

Travel required to provide QMS leadership across Wabtec sites, primarily in North America

Ability to travel up to 20%.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.

Lead auditor certified

5+ years experience in quality or quality systems

Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. 

Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.

What will your typical day look like? 

Member of the Wabtec QMS team responsible to perform audits in support of the Wabtec internal audit program

Confirm corrective actions are captured and implemented with effective, sustainable solutions (CAR/PDCA)

Identify and/or facilitate Continuous Improvement opportunities to reduce costs and improve outcomes.

Ensure Wabtec’s Quality Management System (QMS) conforms to customer, internal, ISO and ARR requirements. 

Evaluate documentation accuracy and adequacy – rectify as necessary

Implement and enhance pillar application systems to support QMS compliance

Develop an effective quality training program

Promote the development & advancement of a quality culture throughout the organization

Keep up on standards, regulation / laws, issues and news with respect to product & service quality

Relocation assistance may be provided if eligibility requirements are met.

You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary. Our job titles may span more than one career level. The salary range for this role is between $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 USD Annual. The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands, and work location. Our job titles may span more than one career level. The salary range for this role is between

$77,400.00-$110,300.00

The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. More information on offered benefits, which include health, welfare, and retirement, are available at mywabtecbenefits.com. Other benefit offerings for this role may include an annual bonus, if eligible.
