The primary objective of this role is to ensure that departmental processes, products, and services comply with established quality standards and regulatory requirements. This includes the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality management systems aimed at driving continuous improvement, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring customer satisfaction. All efforts will be aligned with ISO 9001:2015 principles, with the goal of achieving certification.Brief DescriptionKey responsibilities include the following:
Develop, document, and update policies, procedures, and work instructions Regularly review and refine the QMS to accommodate departmental changes, technological advancements, and evolving industry regulations Conduct regular management reviews to assess the QMS effectiveness and drive continuous improvements Perform task analysis of all existing processes and ensure all stakeholders re-evaluate their processes annually Plan and conduct internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of operational processes Identify and reporting non-conformities, potential risks, and areas for process optimization Collaborate with various departments to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) Monitor and review compliance with relevant legislation, certifications, and customer requirements to enhance customer satisfaction Develop and deliver training programs that educate employees on quality policies, procedures, and compliance requirements Induct new employees on the quality management system including policies and procedures Ensure the development of relevant training materials to support in-house capacity building and training initiatives Monitor quality performance metrics such as customer complaints and satisfaction levels, to identify trends and potential risks Supporting strategic planning by offering data-driven recommendations that align with organizational goals and enhance overall efficiency and customer satisfaction Control expenditure within the Budget Adhere to the Delegation of Authority Document and the RACI
Requirements:
Grade 12 ISO 9001:2015 requirements, implementation and internal auditor competency certificates A degree in Quality Management or a related field
Licenses:
Valid driver s license - Code08(B) or Code10(C1).
Required years of related experience:
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in developing, implementing, and auditing Quality Management Systems, as well as managing ISO systems and providing office administration support Relevant experience in a higher education or similar environment would be an added advantage
