Overview NOTE: Must be able to work multiple shifts throughout the year to provide vacation coverage Responsibilities PRIMARY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES: This position involves a combination of visually monitoring various aspects of plant operations, or physically obtaining samples and testing in the Q.A. Lab. Monitoring quality parameters may include process times and temperatures. Trained to conduct sanitation inspections ensuring compliance to sanitation policies and procedures. Perform micro-testing: collection and plating micro samples Assist in the maintenance of the hold area. Conduct sensory analysis of finished products Continuously improve plant GMPs through regular audits of the plant. Provide quality improvement education to the workforce through daily and weekly team meetings. Attention to details in regards to procedures, quality testing and line audits. Conduct food safety audits as assigned Enter data into spreadsheets and the Infinity data collection system. Ensure compliance to oPRPs and PRPs Must be able to troubleshoot quality issues Maintain a professional approach and appearance while performing job tasks Operate and monitor production line(s) to ensure efficiency Perform tests and use special equipment to ensure package and product quality Operate all manufacturing equipment efficiently and safely Clean equipment and area during and after shift Maintain clean work area through good housekeeping practices Maintain a safe work environment for all employees. Follow process guidelines and expedite quality concerns to management Work with production/maintenance as necessary Keep daily records tests performed and results Regular, reliable, predictable attendance Compensation and Benefits: The expected compensation range for this position is between $37,000 - $51,500 based on a full-time schedule. Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.
