Trane Technologies is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that our industrial water chillers meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This role involves inspecting products at various stages of the manufacturing process, identifying defects, and ensuring that all products meet company and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environmentInspection and Testing: Conduct thorough inspections and tests on industrial water chillers at various stages of production to ensure compliance with quality standards and specificationsDocumentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities. Prepare reports on findings and communicate results to relevant departmentsDefect Identification: Identify and document any defects or non-conformities in products. Work with production teams to address and resolve quality issuesCompliance: Ensure that all products meet company, industry, and regulatory standards. Stay up to date with relevant quality standards and regulationsContinuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing processes. Provide feedback and recommendations for process improvements.Collaboration: Work closely with production, engineering, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless quality control processes. Assist in training production staff on quality standards and proceduresKey Qualifications:Must be willing to work an afternoon shift from 3:00 pm to 11:30 am Monday through Friday and 2 Saturday's per month.Experience: Minimum of 1 years of experience in quality inspection or a related role in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the HVAC or industrial equipment industrySkills: Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipmentKnowledge: Familiarity with quality control standards and methodologies. Understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial equipmentCommunication: Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teamsPhysical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks

Base Pay Range (for Colorado Residents): $20.52 – $23.50
