Quality Inspector

Purpose of Role:
The Quality Inspector will be responsible for receiving, in-process and final inspection for a wide variety of complex and tight tolerance components. They will utilize manual and computer aided inspection tools including calipers, micrometers, Faro arm and Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) to perform these inspections.

Key Responsibilities:
Work from drawings and specifications to inspect a wide range of complex parts at various inspection points (receiving, in-process and final inspection) using a wide variety of gages and techniquesWrite reports and input inspection results into computer systemAssist other inspection teammates and machinists with operation and proper use of inspection equipmentNotify Head of Quality, Quality Engineer, Product Engineering, Production Management and other personnel as appropriate of parts not meeting specificationsSafety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.Qualifications:
Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the objectives above.2-5 years of inspection experienceAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Experience working with hand instruments including micrometers, calipers, etc.Experience with Faro and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) is essential.
