Job Description:

Location: Tualatin, Oregon

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Quality Inspector candidates in the Tualatin, OR area. Our client is a nationwide manufacturing leader that produces connectors and associated components for use in electronic applications.

Responsibilities:

• Quality inspection of fiber optic cable and circuit boards.
• Use of calipers, pin gauges, and microscopes.
• Once cables have cleared inspection, send them to test tech department
• Inspect goods, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of inspections.
• Identify defects or non-conformities and communicate them to the production team.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the development of quality control procedures and best practices.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.

Desired Background/Skills:

Must Have:
• Quality Control/inspection experience

Preferred Experience:

• IPC-certified (Institute for Printed Circuits)
• Experience with printed circuit boards (PCBs)
• Experience in cable manufacturing, along with IPC certification or PCB experience preferred
• Experience using Calipers, Pin gauges, Microscopes

Other Information:

Schedule details:
Monday to Friday and the schedule is 7:00am-3:30pm.
The pay range is $22 to $24 an hour depending on experience.
