**Job Title: Quality Inspector** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector to join our production team. The Quality Inspector will play a crucial role in ensuring the high standards of our finished products. This position requires an individual who is detail-oriented and committed to maintaining quality throughout the production process. **Responsibilities** + Visually inspect finished mattresses for defects. + Read work instructions specific to quality standards. + Record any quality defects into logs. + Lift finished goods onto the wrap machine. + Assist production operators with loading machines. + Move finished product to warehouse for shipping. **Essential Skills** + At least 1 year of visual quality inspection experience. + Ability to lift 50+ lbs throughout the shift. + Ability to stand on their feet for the duration of their shift. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with quality inspection tools such as micrometers and calipers. + Experience in a production or packaging environment. **Why Work Here?** Our company has been established for over 100 years and prides itself on a family-oriented culture. While the facility is not climate controlled, large industrial fans help to manage temperatures during the warmer months. The dress code includes pants or shorts, tennis shoes, a t-shirt, and safety glasses. The typical shift runs from 8:30 am to the end of production, generally ending around 5:30 pm, though some days may extend to 10-12 hours.
