**Job Title: Quality Inspector** **Job Description** + The main goal of this position is to ship customer orders on time. This includes preventing the recurrence of discrepancies, identifying bottlenecks and shop constraints before they cause late delivery, understanding the lean business model, and managing the value stream from QC through shipping. + Inspect parts to spec based on prints and drawings. + Follow defined inspection procedures and use calibrated equipment. + Review new order drawings to create in-process inspection plans and inspection plans for details that cannot be inspected on the shop floor. Provide critical feedback to the Lead Quality Inspector and Project Manager. + Understand workload and adjust it accordingly. Plan to work overtime as directed by the Lead Quality Inspector to meet customer delivery schedules. **Required Skills** + CNC setup + Inspection + Assisting machinists in standard inspection procedures. + Ensuring workflow through QC. + Managing time allowed and delivery schedule. + Experience with SRIC process to allow on time delivery. + Making improvement recommendations. **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Winchester, Virginia. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
