WHAT THIS POSITION IS ABOUT - PURPOSE

The role will be responsible to implement Factory Quality control, assurance and improvement tasks in line with company quality objectives and Global Quality expectations to ensure a continuous supply of quality product to markets.

 

WHAT WILL YOU DO - RESPONSIBILITIES

Quality Control:

Execute product quality measurements and monitor QIMS data during production to evaluate product quality and initiate appropriate improvement actions for Make Pack personnel (operator/mechanic/electrician).

Provide accurate records in the inspection result in relevant reporting system.

Review quality parameters to be within R&D limits during production time/shift to assure product quality.

Control correctness of product BOM in QIMS prior production to secure product quality.

Coordinate material and product related trouble shooting activity as/when it happens within the shift and report to Quality Engineer and/or Manager.

Quality Assurance:

Complete quality inspection as per plan upon request from warehouse and/or Make Pack personnel in duty.

Inspection result to be in line with R&D QA Manual requirements (incoming materials inspection, shelf life control, shorts usage, etc.) and local rules & procedures in order to avoid and/or minimize product write off due to material.

Provide accurate records in the inspection result in relevant reporting system.

Coordinate trouble shooting activity related to product and/or materials as/when it happens and report to Quality Engineer and/or Manager.

Quality Improvement

Execute - QME calibration and maintenance, complaints study, quality improvement activities, quality related trainings, NPD prototypes, eMQF tests upon request from Quality Engineer and/or Manager.

This is to ensure continuous improvement in product quality.

Implement regular IICI related activity and infestation firefighting as/when it happens and provide accurate report to Quality Engineer and/or Manager. 

Continuous improvement:

Analyze all quality KPIs, quality indicators and quality performance in order to promtly react to deviations.

Suggest actions to achieve better quality and actively participate in Process improvement activities factory wide and contribute to ensure processes are performed with minimum wastage of direct materials (NTM, cut fillers) and rejects.

Energy Saving and EHS:

Focus on energy saving opportunity and maintain zero LTI & RI in department by cascading all relevant communications, programs and initiatives from factory Engineering and EHS.

Contribute to minimize waste in daily job to safe environment. Participate in tasks /projects/programs and audits associated with ISO, FM Global and other programs including CP, 5S3R initiatives carried out by local and global authorities. 

Other :

Manage various tasks and projects (global and local) as they arise and upon manager’s and/or cross functional departments request.

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR - REQUIREMENTS:

Vocational or University Degree and it's equivalent

Minimum 1 year of experience Quality Control/Quality Assurance

Good oral and written communication skills

Good to have:

Product specification

Make Pack and warehouse operation

Complaints management

QIMS management

IICI management (beetle infestation), 5S3R, EHS, ISO.
