Volt is immediately hiring for a Quality Technician in Colorado Springs, CO

\r\n\r\n

As a Quality Technician you will:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tIncoming inspection of consumables and raw material; inline inspection of production; final inspection of finished goods and packaging. \r\n\tActively supports internal audits, documentation control, procedure development, process monitoring and control as well as continuous improvement activities.\r\n\tPhysically inspect all incoming product and verify meets order requirements and specifications.\r\n\tPerform analytical tests and take samples as required for various products.\r\n\tRepackage and label product as needed and release into production or inventory control\r\n\tIdentify and control nonconforming product and complete related documentation.\r\n\tCommunicate activities on daily basis to include work performed, problems encountered and resolution.\r\n\tAssist in performance of audits of production, quality, equipment/tooling, and systems to assure compliance to documented procedures and customer specifications.\r\n\tEnsures that documents, records and samples are cataloged, archived and stored.\r\n\tMaintain calibration equipment.\r\n\tIdentify gaps or deficiencies in quality management system and provide solution based suggestions utilizing data to facilitate improvements.\r\n\tAssist with corrective actions using problems solving tools and methodologies to assure closure of issues/events and prevent recurrence.\r\n\r\n\r\n

This is a full time temp-to-hire opportunity.

\r\n\r\n

The ideal candidate will have:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tHigh School Diploma or GED with minimum of 3-5 years’ work experience in manufacturing quality role. \r\n\tAssociates degree or higher with 1-3years’ experience in manufacturing quality role.\r\n\tMust be proficient user in MS office applications. Knowledgeable in ERP systems (ie SAP), as well as quality monitoring and control systems.\r\n\tExperience working with microscopes, automated vision systems, calipers, gage blocks, mechanical tests etc.\r\n\tBackground and drug test required\r\n\r\n\r\n

Shift Available: Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm

\r\n\r\n

Pay Rate: $20.00 to $21.00 per hour

\r\n\r\n

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
