Summary
Reporting to the Quality Manager, the successful co-op student will be responsible for supporting quality improvement projects, ensuring that changes to processes and drawings are complete as well as monitoring performance. The co-op student may also work on other engineering-related projects.
Responsibilities
Monitoring of operational performance metrics Summarizing and presenting reports Identification of operational issues Conducting root cause analysis and corrective action identification (problem solving activity) Supporting process owners with change managementPlease note: the successful candidate will work primarily on the manufacturing plant floor as part of their role in quality assurance.
Qualifications
Pursuing a degree/diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering. Is in registered co-op program and available from the Spring/Summer 2025 work term ( 4 or 8 months term available). Has key interest in engineering design and manufacturing. Some manufacturing experience is an asset. Can be proficient in Visual Basic Excellent communication skills A team player Able to work independently with minimal supervisionWork Arrangement: Onsite.
