Quality Engineering Lead
Quality Engineering Lead We are looking for a talented, experienced Quality Engineering leader with leadership/communication skills. The Quality Engineering Lead is responsible to build core software QA practice, including building, maintaining and executing testing strategy, defining and deriving metrics and outcomes. They will work alongside QA engineers providing leadership and guidance to the QA engineers in designing and documenting test cases, manual test execution, and contributing to test planning and test report documentation. Responsibilities: + Implement and enforce QA and QC standards, policies, and procedures; + Ensure the QE team designs, implements, and maintains comprehensive test plan/test cases; review test results to ensure they meet established standards or adjust improve results; + Collaborate with developers to improve overall product quality by emphasizing defect prevention throughout the development process; + Provide testing strategy and leadership including the implementation of automated testing frameworks + Develop and execute formal test plan for both manual and automated test solutions for validation and accreditations + Work closely with the development team to understand ongoing software changes, define acceptance criteria, derive release testing requirements, validate changes, and update test procedures. Perform manual exploratory testing during development operations + Provide technical expertise and ownership in diagnosis and resolution of issues, including determination and provision of workaround solution or escalation to service owners + Identify potential risks associated with new releases + Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to explain and verify defects, communicate critical issues and status updates in a timely manner + Provide coaching and guidance to the QA team on best practices + Participate in sprint planning, standup meetings and retrospectives to ensure alignment and process improvements + Other duties as assigned Qualifications: + 8+ years of software QA End to End experience + Demonstrated leadership qualities + Strong Knowledge of software QA concepts and methodology with phenomenal attention to detail and a passion for quality + Exposure to development or test automation tools/frameworks, experience developing automation frameworks and test suites + Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent + Internal and external client-focused attitude with excellent communication skills + Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills + High level of self-initiate and self-motivation with Strong interpersonal and technical skills. Salary range for this position is included in accordance with current state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, experience, and performance in the role.
