**A Day in the Life**
Le stagiaire en ingénierie des procédés contribuera à améliorer la façon dont nous développons l'équipement et les procédés sur le site de fabrication de Pointe-Claire. Dans le cadre de son rôle, il soutiendra les ingénieurs de fabrication dans leurs projets d'amélioration et/ou de développement de nouveaux processus/équipements pour la fabrication de cathéters. Ils aideront à documenter les normes pour l'équipe, en se concentrant spécifiquement sur la stabilisation et la normalisation de nos processus d'affaires liés à la conception d'équipements automatisés et à la gestion du cycle de vie. Ils dirigeront et participeront également à la résolution de problèmes A3 DMAIC afin de résoudre les problèmes liés aux points clés et critiques, aux processus et aux systèmes.
Ce stage est une excellente occasion de développer et d'utiliser des compétences et des concepts d'ingénierie tout en acquérant une expérience pratique de l'amélioration continue dans l'industrie de la fabrication de dispositifs médicaux.

Conditions à remplir (exigences minimales) :
Pour être pris en considération pour le stage en ingénierie, vous devez satisfaire aux exigences de base suivantes.Pour que votre candidature soit prise en considération, indiquez clairement dans votre CV comment vous répondez à ces critères.
+ Au moins deux ans d'études en vue de l'obtention d'un baccalauréat en génie mécanique. Un diplôme d'ingénieur électricien ou dans un domaine similaire est requis.
+ Vous devez détenir un permis de travail valide et être légalement autorisé à travailler au Canada. Medtronic Montréal n'offre pas de parrainage d'autorisation de travail pour les postes de stagiaires.
Ce qui est bien :
+ Minimum d'un an d'études à la maîtrise en génie mécanique ou dans un domaine similaire
+ Moyenne pondérée cumulative de 3,0 sur 4,0.
+ Avoir déjà travaillé sur des projets dans un environnement d'équipe
+ Expérience de leadership dans des groupes d'étudiants, expérience de bénévolat et activités parascolaires connexes.
+ Expérience pertinente en matière de projets universitaires et/ou de stages
The Process Engineering intern will assist in improving the way we develop equipment and processes throughout the Pointe Claire manufacturing site. As part of their role, they will support the manufacturing engineers in their improvement projects and/or new process/equipment development for the manufacturing of catheters. They will assist in documenting standards for the team, specifically focusing on stabilizing and standardizing our business processes related to automated equipment design and life-cycle management. They will also lead and participate in A3 DMAIC Problem Solving to resolve key and critical point, process and system issues.
This internship is a great opportunity to develop and use engineering skills and concepts along with getting hands on continuous improvement experience in the medical device manufacturing industry.

Must have (minimum requirements):
To be considered for the Engineering internship, you must meet the following basic requirements. To be considered for a position, clearly indicate how you meet these criteria on your resume.
+ Minimum of 2 years of studies in a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Electrical Engineering or similar field is required
+ Must have current work authorization and be legally authorized to work in Canada. Medtronic Montreal does not provide work authorization sponsorship for intern positions.
Nice to have:
+ Minimum of 1 year of studies in a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field
+ Minimum of a 3.0 out of 4.0 cumulative GPA
+ Prior work on projects in a team environment
+ Leadership experience in student groups, volunteer experience, and related extracurriculars
+ Relevant academic project and/or internship experience
