Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Engineer III will be responsible for providing hands-on involvement and project management in quality systems, quality control and continuous improvement in support of manufacturing operations, strategic and policy deployment objectives. Primary focus areas within manufacturing operations, quality systems include internal audit management, Corrective & Preventative Action leadership, Learning Management System program support, and tactical Quality Management System support for other elements for the Hach site at Loveland Co.  

This position is part of the Quality department located in Loveland, Colorado and will be on-site.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

Leads and maintains timeliness of Internal Audit schedule including schedule of opening/closing meetings, audit reports, and follow up activities for findings.Manages Corrective & Preventative Actions (CAPA) program including leadership of CAPA Review Board, timely execution, monitoring, and reporting process metrics.Leads Quality System and Manufacturing Process improvement projects (i.e. Agile, Learning Management Systems (LMS), Manufacturing work cells) with cross-functional support including the mentoring and utilization of Quality Coordinator resources.Facilitates improvements to change order processes (Engineering, Manufacturing and Document Change Orders (ECO, MCO, DCO)) including change analyst and task master implementation responsibilities to ensure seamless implementation of changes.Monitors Loveland site internal quality metrics and progress toward quality system goals and objectives.Supports Learning Management System (LMS) including user group/curriculum creation, training matrix updates and overall training program improvements.

The essential requirements of the job include:

Bachelors in science degree with a minimum of 5 years of direct relevant experience or a Masters degree with 3 years of direct relevant experience.  Technical discipline preferred (Physical Sciences or Engineering).3+ years’ experience in Lean Manufacturing and application of concepts in a Manufacturing environment.Comprehensive knowledge and experience in quality management system elements, planning, tools, Project Management and analysis.Compliance & Regulatory experience in related industry standards (ISO 9001, 21 CFR part 820, ISO 13485, ISO 17025)Comprehensive knowledge of quality principles and technical tools (problem analysis, statistical tools, control charts and other quality methodologies).

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
