As a Quality Engineer II, you will work closely with your Manager, Developers, Development leads, Business Analysts and other project team members in defining, creating, executing and maintaining various aspects of web app and mobile testing.

What You Will Be Doing:

Establish purpose and deliverables for all test effortsCreate and execute detailed test cases based on functional specificationsDevelop test plans and test strategy documents based on business requirementsReview test plans with project team and garner feedbackModify and maintain existing test cases as needed based on updated functionalityParticipate in all aspects of testing, including functional, system, regression and user acceptance testingReport, review and retest defects and ensure that all important defects have been resolved at the appropriate level prior to product releaseParticipate in defect triage discussionsRepresent Quality Engineering organizational processes to your Agile TeamAutomate test cases using industry standard tools

What We Hope You Will Bring To This Role:

Required:

2-4 years of testing web-based and/or mobile applicationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceKnowledge and experience with industry standard defect management tools

Preferred:

Ability to multi-task and manage competing prioritiesStrong problem-solving capabilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to interact professionally with a diverse group including executives, managers, and subject matter expertsExperience working with offshore and geographically spread out development and testing teamsCompleted or working towards industry standard testing certification
