Description:Lockheed Martin's Missiles and Fire Control is looking to hire a Quality Engineer Asc to support our Orlando, FL site.
This job applies quality principles in the areas of design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation, program performance, reliability, inventory control, and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality for make and/or buy products. Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Performing technical evaluations including product requirements, First Article Inspections, specifications, models/designs, drawings and procedures.
• Collaborating with program engineering, manufacturing centers, supply chain and customers on quality related issues to ensure quality standards are in place.
• Engaging in product failure investigations and corrective/preventive action as well as Yield Improvement initiatives.
• Ensure corrective measures meet acceptable standards and/or are compliant with requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a STEM discipline
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Ability to work well in a diverse team environment
• Experience in Quality Engineering processes
Desired Skills:
• Root Cause Analysis experience (Cause Mapping, 5-Why, Fishbone, etc.)
• Experience conducting First Article Inspections (FAI) to AS9102
• Experience in Quality Management Systems, Industry Standards and LM command media e.g., AS9100, ISO-9001, IPC and J-STD
• Experience performing complete root cause/corrective and/or preventive action
• Working knowledge of continuous improvement
• Strong communication skills
• Yield Improvement, Trending, and Data analytics
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
