This is an on-site position working Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm* in the Pitney Bowes **Whitestown, IN** facility. The wage range for this position is $76000 to $100000 / annually with the actual pay dependent on your skills and experience as they relate to the job requirements and the location where you will be performing the job. **You are:** + A passionate Quality engineer who can deliver quality insights, troubleshoot mechanical machines and ensure quality assurance + A forward thinker who acts with purposefulness and speed and is committed to championing new ideas and creativity while using positivity to build a winning team + Someone who values process-oriented, structured, and stable work environments + Motivated by achievement in the face of tough obstacles + Highly adaptable and thrive in an agile environment **You will:** + Support investigation of supplier/in-house quality problems and coordinate implementation of effective and timely resolutions + Communicate supplier part quality issues identified on the line and MRB meetings + Coordinate containment activities to minimize supplied part quality impact to the plants + Conduct data analysis for defects, manage relevant KPIs, and create reports/dashboards in Power BI or equivalent + Track and support quality of outgoing products in the field and client-facing metrics as needed + Assist with training/providing feedback to co-workers and production personnel as needed based on test findings + Work with plant quality to collect data at the testing station and provide inputs as needed to take corrective/preventative actions and create a robust quality process + Be a champion of continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma methods and statistical tools + Support ISO9001 and other regulatory compliance requirements as needed + Work with the Plant Quality manager to close out QN, CAPAs, and other quality issues in a timely manner + Act as the SME and become the interface between production and quality, along with communicating production challenges and solutions + Work under minimal supervision, prioritizing workload, and interfacing with multiple personnel and departments **Your background:** As a Quality Engineer, you have: + A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience + 1-5 years’ experience in Quality; preferably manufacturing background + Six Sigma and/ or ASQ Certification + Experience with BI tools such as PowerBI or Tableau + Knowledge of statistical quality control techniques + Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly plant processes + Preferred experience with Pitney Bowes products, especially Mail insertion + Experience in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and high-level systemic issues + Familiarity with Microsoft operating systems, including the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word), and knowledge of 0365 (SAP knowledge is a plus) + Strong oral and written communication skills + Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and documented requirements + The ability to perform mechanical inspections, ranging from simple checks to first-article layouts of complex parts + The ability to walk/stand for extended periods of time and lift to 50 pounds **Our Team:** SendTech Solutions offers physical and digital mailing and shipping technology solutions, financing, services, supplies and other applications for small and medium businesses, retail, enterprise, and government clients around the world to help simplify and save on the sending, tracking and receiving of letters, parcels and flats.
