Quality Engineer
Are you passionate about ensuring excellent product quality and driving continuous improvement? We’re seeking a Quality Engineer to play a pivotal role in enhancing out-of-the-box quality for our customers. You will be responsible for developing and continuously improving systems and processes to support all Quality Control activities. As a Quality Engineer, you will support operations by being responsible for the Service Request quality program, monitoring key performance indicators, investigating quality issues, conducting Root Cause Analysis, facilitating CAPA, and assisting with ISO9001:2015 compliance. This position may expand to include supervision of quality support team members. This person will work directly with multi-functional teams to implement solutions. **In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** + Facilitate the Daily Support Request Triage meeting, ensuring timely and accurate issue resolution. + Lead Root Cause Analysis and implement balanced solutions for customer complaints. + Help improve Receiving Inspection, Production, and Shipping processes to maintain product flow and minimize costs. + Participate in daily GEMBA boardwalks while managing the Safety Quality Delivery Cost (SQDC) tower for the Quality cell when requested. + Support Material Review Board (MRB) activities to ensure a continuous flow of nonconforming material. + Track and trend internal Non-Conformances, as well as develop projects and/or countermeasures to achieve internal defect reduction year over year. + Conduct training on internal Quality Procedures and Work Instructions. **Who You Are:** You tackle difficult issues with optimism and confidence. You facilitate an open dialogue with a wide variety of contributors and stakeholders. **For This Role, You Will Need:** + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Quality or related field + Three years minimum experience in Quality + Shown success in continuous improvement of Quality Inspection processes + Proven understanding of ISO 9001:2015 + Advanced computer skill involving word processing, spreadsheets, data bases and QMS systems + Experience with the various industry standards: IEC NEC, CEC, PED, ASME etc. + Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications + Proficient understanding of Material Test Reports (MTR) **Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:** + Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering + Experience with the Pressure Equipment Directive and NQA-1 (or 10CFR 50 Appendix **Our Culture & Commitment to You:** At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
