Job Title: Quality Engineer ** For Immediate consideration please apply to this posting and email your resume to habels@actalentservices.com** Job Description This position is accountable for the development and maintenance of customer complaints and resolution process, troubleshooting equipment, tooling, and materials for samples and production. The Quality Engineer is responsible for preparing KPIs, administering customer complaints, and supporting quality inspectors. Responsibilities + Maintain or administer the customer complaint and resolution system. + Prepare and analyze various KPIs and reports. + Responsible for special continuous projects, print revision files, and the calibration program. + Manage the Quality department during the absence of the Quality Manager. + Provide technical support to the SPC and inspection programs as required. + Participate in promoting safety and adhere to ISO/AS standards. + Eliminate waste and improve processes using Lean Manufacturing and Engineering systems. + Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required by management. + Participate in lean activities such as Kaizen Workshops. Essential Skills + Proficiency in MS Excel. + Knowledge of ISO, AS, and QS 9000 quality systems. + Experience with quality standards, quality assurance, and quality engineering. + Understanding of ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards. + Audit experience. + Minimum 1-3 years of Quality Experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Preferred 4-year technical degree. Work Environment The work environment is a moderate to loud production environment, working around equipment and machinery. The role reports to the Quality Manager and involves interacting with the quality and production team on the floor. Standard production schedule includes shifts from 4 AM to 2:30 PM and 2:30 PM to 11 PM. Two positions are available with shifts from 8 AM to 5 PM and 10 AM to 7 PM.
