Ability to effectively interface with and lead teams to deliver robust quality plans and improvements
Experience in electrical Components/Feature/Systems
Experience with problem solving tools such as 8D/Conformance plans, 3L5W Root Cause Analysis, DFMEA coaching, DVP&R audit/review and sign off. CTQ workstreams and assessments
Knowledge with acquiring, analyzing, and processing data in the field. Data Cubes, BSAQ, ECBs; QNPS to deep dive verbatims (root cause identification)
Experience with Vehicle Integration or Program Management
Knowledge of product development Design and Release. GPDS governed deliverables per milestone
Understand and apply failure mode avoidance methods including linkage such as Quality History, Interface Analysis, DFMEA, and Design Verification Plan.
Effective Self-Motivator who can manage a number of assignments simultaneously and works well in an unstructured environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills for becoming the customer advocate to the EDS Product Development teams and Drive Quality into Future Models
Experience in failure mode avoidance methods (and the linkages among them) including Quality-History, Interface Analysis, DFMEA, PFMEA, and DVP.
Six Sigma Experience (Green Belt or Black Belt Certified).
BS Engineering, preferrably Electrical/Electronics Engineering
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Passionate about improving product quality
Success in leading teams and participation in Management Reviews
Familiarity with Ford Quality Systems: FMA, G8D, DMAIC, etc.
Strong knowledge of following tools: Microsoft Office and FEDE
3-5 Years of Experience in LV or HV Electrical Distribution System
GPDS knowledge is a plus

Lead FMA best practices for forward model quality for Electrical Distribution System in Gasoline, Diesel, Hybrid, and all Electric vehicles Collaborate with PD Engineers and PMT on Change Point Analysis and Risk analysis leading to robust FMA work plan Partner with PD Engineers for GPDS Quality Deliverables in FEDE Collaborate with cross functional team and drive the preventive reoccurring actions for AIMS / Warranty / Stop Ship / FSA using problem solving tools with emphasize on 3L5W Collaborate with PD engineers and supplier team on Foundation Quality documents, such Quality History, Boundary Diagram, Interface Matrix, P-Diagram, DFMEA, PFMEA, SCCAF, Control Plan, etc. Work with PD Engineers and Supplier Team for appropriate process control methods for prevention and detection. Complete the Quality Assessment for Fails Customer Expectation / Meets Customer Expectation (FCE/MCE) issues Conduct Signoff audits at various milestones to verify robust signoff. Identify any recurring themes and work with your PD Partner to cascade the lesson learned and improve overall performance.
