Quality Engineer
Job Title: Quality Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Engineer with a strong understanding of machining and familiarity with metallurgical concepts. The ideal candidate will have experience with NADCAP and AS9100, as well as continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with customers to resolve quality issues and ensure customer satisfaction.

ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot quality issues related to material testing and adjust parameters as necessary.Serve as the point person for customer quality requests and interface with customers.Resolve quality issues in working orders and ensure qualifications orders are processed correctly.Promote continuous improvement and lean manufacturing practices within the organization.Work closely with machining, inspection, and testing processes to maintain high-quality standards.Assist with any continuous improvement initiatives from a quality standpoint.Provide expertise in troubleshooting and resolving quality issues.Essential SkillsExperience with NADCAP and AS9100.Strong understanding of metallurgy and familiarity with material properties.Experience with machining and machine shop processes.Excellent communication skills and ability to interface with customers.Experience in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing.Additional Skills & QualificationsLab testing experience is a plus.NADCAP certification is a nice-to-have.Experience with dimensional inspection.Work Environment

The work environment is a forging site specializing in metal, steel, titanium, aluminum

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00
