Quality Engineer
Job Title: Quality Engineer

Job Description

The Quality Engineer will work closely with manufacturing engineers to ensure flawless mass production of products. This role involves collaborating with multifunctional teams, including suppliers, to meet tight deadlines. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for the Quality Management System (QMS) and assisting with AS 9100 audits. Additionally, they will manage projects across different product lines, including new product introductions, and work on Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP).

ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with manufacturing engineers to ensure high-quality mass production.Work with multifunctional teams and suppliers to meet tight production timelines.Manage and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS).Assist with AS 9100 audits and ensure compliance.Oversee project management for various product lines, including new product introductions.Utilize root cause analysis and corrective actions to address quality issues.Essential SkillsExperience in a high-paced manufacturing environment with large-scale production.Proficiency in writing Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documents, including First Article Inspections (FAI).Familiarity with AS 9100 or AS 9102 regulations.Solid knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective action processes.Experience in quality engineering within the aerospace industry.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with ISO 9000/9001 standards.Experience in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP).Previous involvement in quality audits.Work Environment
