The Opportunity:

Avantor is looking for a dedicated and experienced Quality Engineer I. Main administrator of the electronic Quality Management System. Develop, modify, apply, and maintain quality assessment and control systems/protocols in accordance with the applicable standard. Oversee the writing, review, and updating of standard operating procedures and work instructions. Conduct quality control tests, pilot productions, and perform statistical analysis. Provides technical and quality operations support to other departments. Drive efficiency, practices and policies that improve quality. Analyze trends to improve quality and drive continuous improvement. Represent Avantor during customer audits. Ensure that procedures and quality standards are met. Supports investigations of complaints, process problems, and laboratory analysis

This role will be a full-time position onsite base out of Ecatepec de Morelos, Ciudad de Mexico.

What we’re looking for 

Education:  IBQ, IQ, QFB, Q or related.Experience: 3 years as a Quality Engineer

Manages the procedures of the Quality Management System (PCM’S, ICM’S, POE’S and Quality Manual)Conducts non-routine quality analysis focused on the attention client’s complaints and process problems.Carry out pilot tests in the laboratory for new processes or reworks.Monitors and records inconsistencies with quality procedures and norms.Opens and follows-up the corrective and preventive actions.Participates in the organization of Internal/External Audits (Suppliers).Audits reports Control (Internal/External) of ISO 9001:2015.Follows-up to the issues detected in the audits (internal/External).Follows-up the written procedures and participates in the continues improvement of the Quality Management System.Generates the letter-answer of the customer claims.Manages the software for the Documentation System Management (Master Control).Controls the documental System of the Company (MOC, CAPA, Complaints, SCAR, etc.Changes the quality status the required products in the PROTEAN system (Expired, Repackage and Release) according to the procedures.Follows the quality and safety norms for them for proper performance.Supports any implementation of any Norm that is required for the Quality System Management.Controls and registers the investigations reports of failures and default of Packing material and Raw Material.Reviews and approves the printed labels for Process.Checks the customer's returns and determine their destination.Verifies and update the expiration dates of packed finished product.Makes and updates the procedures that correspond to the function.Manage process to create quality certificates.Performs other functions assigned to it.Position eligible for flexible working according to business needs.
