The purpose of this role is to ensure that all fruits meet stringent quality standards before they are shipped to customers. You will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections, identifying defects or irregularities, and implementing corrective actions to maintain product quality.

Responsibilities:
Conducting quality inspections on incoming and outgoing fruits according to established protocols. Monitoring and evaluating fruit quality based on color, size, weight, and other specified criteria. Implementing quality control procedures to minimize defects and ensure compliance with industry standards. Collaborating with production teams to address quality issues and improve processes. Maintaining accurate records of inspections, test results, and corrective actions taken. Prep for claims meet on Sunday and make sure everything is on the sheet for Monday meeting Arrange inspections Arrange inspections at other Coldstores if there is stock and do inspections Advise growers of arrival reports/ quality issues Send survey reports to growers when received Advise growers of claim amount when received from client or discuss in claims meeting Arrange surveys for containers that made arrival with quality issues Update claim sheet and add containers with quality problems on the sheet Keep track of all the templates that have at loading points Arrange services for company cars and keep track of license disk Updating Citrus top up sheets for all growers Updating Mango top up sheets for all growers Arrange Fumigation and QPS application for India Put shipping line on notice when necessary Submit claim packs to link if it is shipping line claim Following up sales reports / Consignment stock Following up claim values Requirements:
Relevant degree / diploma Fully bilingual Previous experience in a similar role within the fruit industry. Strong knowledge of fruit quality parameters and grading standards. Attention to detail and ability to work independently. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Willingness to travel Own vehicle and valid license
