**Job Title: Quality Technician** **Job Description** We are looking for motivated individuals to assist our Quality Control Team! As a member of the Quality Control Team for a manufacturing facility, you will perform routine bacteriological and chemical testing of blended and spray-dried products. Work with other departments to ensure all company and regulatory standards are met. You will also back up the QA Lead and Manager in their absence. **Hard Skills** + Ability to write reports, policies, and procedure modules + Ability to calculate figures and amounts relating to quality + Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and statistics **Essential Skills** Maintains control of all original Quality documents. Ensures accuracy of Quality policies and procedures on an ongoing basis. Ability to test all products for physical, chemical, and bacteriological means. Accurately interpret and record testing results. Reviews production paperwork for accuracy and traceability. Prepares product samples for customers and outside laboratories testing. Ensure problems are brought to the QA Manager’s attention. Assist QA Manager in food safety audits and SOP reviews. Shift is PM (6pm-6am) with rotating weekends, working 3 days one week and 4 days the following week. The dress code includes appropriate attire for safety and hygiene in a food production setting. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
