Quality Control Specialist/Officer

Overview:


Seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist to oversee and ensure the quality of our construction projects. The Quality Control Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing quality control systems designed to ensure continuous production of advanced applications consistent with established standards, customer specifications, and production goals

Primary Responsibilities: Implement quality control plans and procedures in compliance with contract specifications and regulatory requirements. Enforce standards for inspecting and evaluating the quality of work performed Conduct regular inspections and tests of materials, equipment, and workmanship to ensure adherence to project specificationsDocument inspection results, and coordinate with project managers and subcontractors to address any deficiencies.Ensure all construction activities comply with applicable codes, standards, and regulations. Maintain comprehensive records of quality control documentation, including inspection reports, test results, and corrective actions taken.Identify, document, and report quality issues and non-conformances.Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement corrective and preventive actions.Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and regulatory agencies regarding quality aspects of the project.Attend project meetings to provide updates on quality control activities and issuesSupervisory Responsibilities:Provide guidance and training to project staff and subcontractors on quality control procedures and best practices.  Promote a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement within the organization.Education and/or Experience:Minimum of at least three (3) years’ experience in the Quality Control field.Experience with overseeing and implementing Corrective Action Plans (CAP).Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations. Interview Gu Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in quality control software and Microsoft Office Suite  Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)) are a plus.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
