QC Specialist (Multi-Site) 
This is a full-time, exempt level position

Job Summary
This position is responsible for supporting Quality Control within the Milling division.  This position will be involved with production data analytics, laboratory standardization/efficiencies, driving zero loss thinking and ensuring compliance to industry expectations.  This position, in conjunction with the Divisional Quality Control Manager, will drive continual improvement, best practices and development of facility QC team to facilitate continuous improvement of colleagues, processes and products.

Primary Job FunctionsPerform evaluation of analytical testing frequency across the division and work with production facilities to streamline resources, align testing and drive cost reduction opportunities.Help design and implement a Statistical Quality /Process Control system for improvement of data visualization and utilization in plantsAssist in design and implementation of a standardized, divisional dashboarding/reporting format for production and finished product dataEnsure alignment of all finished product testing with Milling product release specifications an customer expectationsKeep current with technological advancements in analytical instrumentation looking for technology improvements that can save money and /or increase the accuracy of current analysesCollaborate with the Lab Optimization team and others to coordinate online analytical projects (i.e. NIR), as well as develop and sustain existing systems to increase efficiencies and ROICCoordination of collaborative studies, non-routine, and external lab testing for the divisionWork with facilities to build/improve and maintain QC models and plant MMPsAssist, as needed, to identify/rectify recurring failures to meet product specificationsAssist with lab safety evaluations and improvementsProvide assistance to labs when purchasing new analytical equipment to ensure performance and standardization requirements are metHelp ensure that QC training programs are in place for teams that are conducting analysisJob QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent 7 years of laboratory experience preferred. Working knowledge of document management systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, LIMDA/TLC and PIWorking knowledge of statistics desiredKnowledge of applicable food regulations and requirementsAbility to troubleshoot standard lab equipment (Falling numbers, Farinograph, NIR) requiredMilling processing knowledge preferred but not requiredResults driven to provide support to achieve the goals established by the divisionAbility to work as a team member and independentlyExcellent communication skills to provide guidance and feedbackGood leadership skills and experience facilitating cross -functional team activitiesDesire to see continuous improvement in processes and programsAbility to travel, potentially frequently, depending on the needs of the position up to 25%Working Conditions:

Salary Wage Range: $88,000 to $120,000 annually
