Job Description Summary
The Football Defensive Quality Control Coach will analyze game film, enter each play’s information data, evaluate recruiting prospect film, support the coaching staff with play drawings and playbook creation. Assist on-field at workouts and practices by filming, setting up equipment, charting play information, and tracking statistics in addition to other projects as assigned by the coaching staff.

Responsibilities
+ Prepare, breakdown, and analyze video from practices, games and opponents games for review by the head coach, coordinators, assistant coaches and student-athletes.
+ Study each opponent's game plan and schemes, analyze data and chart tendencies to facilitate the planning and execution of practice and game preparation.
+ Identify pregame and in game opponent’s personnel assignments.
+ Assist with game day call sheet with the Defensive Coordinators
+ Identify prospective student-athletes. Research and prepare of scouting reports for recruitment of potential student athletes. Responsible for grading and scouting video of potential student-athletes.
+ Uses independent discretion and judgment as to recommend game strategies and position details during planning/preparation and execution of practice sessions and competitive play.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree and 1 to 2 years of experience coaching football, preferably at the collegiate level required. Successful experience as a graduate student or intern is acceptable for up to one year of the required experience. Related coaching experience at the professional level can be substituted for the degree requirements. The ability to motivate recruits, student-athletes, and alumni to support the program enthusiastically. Working knowledge and compliance of NCAA/Ivy League policies and procedures. Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and travel with the team or when recruiting as required. Valid driver’s license required.
