QUALITY CONTROL ANALYST III

They test and inspect products against performance and integrity criteria to ensure product quality and reliability, and to determine the suitability of product release. Job Description

Responsibilities:
•    Deliver on all KPIs that help the business achieve its goal
•    Lead and drive suppliers quality improvement continuously based on latest requirements like customers or TE internal like VAVE, etc.
•    Customer complaint handling work directly with customer for complaint and feedback to supplier, verify the root cause and follow up actions
•    Investigate root cause of Quality issues and following through with timely and effective corrective actions to prevent re-occurrence for customer and internal issues. 
•    New suppliers audit/approval
•    Supplier’s performance metrics development and report to top management
•    Supplier performance assessment and training;
•    COPQ improvement; Management review and action implement.
•    Define cosmetic standard and QIP dimension and drive suppliers to follow up  
•    Coordinate annual audit /on site process audit when Quality issue or customer complaint arises
•    NPI project follows and improvements/PPAP preparation
•    Great support to team VAVE.
•    4M verification, follow up approval process in customer side and implement process in supplier
•    Monitor supplier quality performance, summarize score card for supplier performance, ask improvement for risk supplier. 

Qualifications:
•    5-10 years’ working experience in supplier quality or in related quality function areas, working experience in connector, SMT or semiconductor manufacturing is a plus.

•    Education: BS degree (or above) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
•    Has advanced knowledge of the supplier management, certified ISO9001/IATF16949 internal auditor is preferred. 

Key requirements
•    Clear understanding of connector quality and requirements, including measurement techniques, would be a distinct advantage.
•    Strong root cause analytical and problem-solving skills. 
•    Good knowledge in quality tools such as SPC,8D, FMEA, Gage R&R)
•    Demonstrated negotiation skills; good communication bridge between TE and suppliers as quality side
•    Ability for periodic travel required. (25%~50%)
•    Strong communication skills; good at English, including writing, reading, speaking
•    Connector manufacturing experience is a plus
