As a Quality Auditor at Caterpillar Inc., you will perform various product audit functions on excavators and tractors.

In this role you may be expected to:

Perform quality inspection based on the check- list of inspection points/proceduresComplete inspections using a checklist and tooling provided (static tools, dry leak testing, Cab electrical tests, templates, etc.)Perform overall quality inspection at quality gates or at pre-delivery inspection.Use lifting devices to move heavy components of weights of more than 35 lbsInspect products to ensure it meets the specificationsGather data from various tools and tooling systems and document quality issues into a computer system and flag defects for repair

Basic Qualifications:

Manufacturing experience

**Role requires overtime on a short notice to support business needs.**

Top candidates will also have:

Previous quality experience in a manufacturing environmentIntermediate proficiency (Basic skills/knowledge. Capable of functioning independently) with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPointIntermediate proficiency in SAP softwareExperience with inspection and product auditing processesIntermediate proficiency with measurement equipment and gagesStrong working knowledge of Assembly/Manufacturing practicesAdvanced problem solving/troubleshooting abilityEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask and prioritize workHeavy equipment machine assembly experience with tractors or excavators

​ Shift Schedule: Sunday-Friday, 11pm - 7:10 am; overtime as needed

Summary Pay Range:

$19.35 - $24.19
