Quality Auditor (3rd Shift)

Job Description:

Audit in-process and finished goods, perform raw material and finished goods sampling, test, maintain document control and record keeping as well as other administrative duties to assure that the processes, products, and systems meet the requirements of internal controls and customer specifications.

Job Duties

Ensure the workplace is clean and safety standards are maintained.Follow all ISO systems (ISO 9001:2015 and 14001). Perform first piece audits per QA SOP requirements. Conduct routine and non-routine analyses of in-process materials, raw materials, and finished goods samples.Ensure samples are collected in a timely manner for lab testing in accordance with Departmental SOP and/or Work Instructions. Identify, communicate, report and record product/process nonconformities in company training management system (TMS).Collect, report and input sample data into Aptean Ross database system. Print and verify sterile labels for production where required. Perform raw and finished incoming inspection duties where required by Departmental SOP, Quality IQP and/or work instruction. Perform auditing, testing and systems training and for all new QA hires. Assist in training for all new hires. Serve as back-up for lab when necessary.

Education, Experience, and other Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED and 1-3 months related experience and/or training.Certifications preferred: ASQ CQA, SSGB, 5S and/or ISO specialized training.Read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Ability to perform root cause analysis and apply troubleshooting skills to help reduce/ eliminate nonconformance issues.Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situationsSee clearly at 20" or less to inspect.See clearly at 10' or more to observe WIP.Must be detail-orientated, highly accurate, and dependable.Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.Must be able to frequently stand, sit, walk, reach, kneel, and lift, move, or transport up to 40lbs.See clearly at 20" or less to inspect.See clearly at 10' or more to observe WIP.

Compensation Information:

$17.50, plus $1.00 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift.
