About the Team DoorDash Labs is an independent team within DoorDash. About the Role We’re hiring a quality assurance & verification lead for our robotics development team. In this role, you’ll work with multiple stakeholders including Product, Autonomy Software Engineering, and Operations to ensure that the software that drives our robots exhibits behavior that is both safe and provides a good experience for our customers. This is a lead role. You will be expected to make individual contributions as well as grow a team focused on tackling quality assurance challenges & opportunities. We’re excited about you because… + B.S., M.S., or PhD. in Computer Science, Robotics or related technical field + 6+ years of industry experience working within the AV, Robotics, embedded systems or equivalent industry. + Experience with C/C++ or Python. + Experience designing verification campaigns that effectively assess the performance and functionality of highly autonomous robots. + Experience with requirements engineering and requirements driven development. + Experience defining and then implementing software releases processes. + Experience managing a team. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
